Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Research and Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the Optiv Market System, including governance of taxonomy and alignment with the security landscape
• Coordinate thought leadership requests and concepts to drive go-to-market plans and programs
• Conduct research on emerging security technologies and collaborate on developing solutions and partnerships

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• 7-10 years of experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably in technology or security
• Strong background in R&D, product development, product marketing, and/or product management
• Previous public speaking experience at large conferences or events
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity and R&D principles
