Director of Revenue Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Revenue Accounting to oversee the revenue accounting team and manage the revenue accounting process.

Key Responsibilities

• Onboard acquired companies to US GAAP revenue recognition
• Implement and maintain revenue recognition policies and manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue schedules
• Assist in the implementation of billing and revenue recognition systems and manage data integrity for financial audits

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of accounting experience
• BS/BA degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
• 5+ years of public accounting experience with strong revenue recognition knowledge
• Strong understanding of ASC 606 and SaaS revenue recognition
• Experience with month-end and year-end close processes
