Director of Revenue Accounting

Job Summary

Managing all aspects of the revenue accounting function, the full-time Director of Revenue Accounting will ensure accuracy and compliance with ASC 606, oversee invoicing and revenue recognition, and lead a team of accounting professionals in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the revenue accounting function, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and company accounting policies
• Oversee customer invoicing, billing operations, revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and WIP accounting
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA strongly preferred
• 5-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years leading revenue accounting teams
• Proven experience managing and developing teams of 4-6 accounting professionals
• Deep expertise in revenue recognition (ASC 606) and financial reporting
• Proficiency with ERP and financial reporting systems, preferably Workday
