Director of Revenue Cycle Management

Job Summary

To optimize patient financial interactions, the full-time remote Director of Revenue Cycle Management will oversee financial clearance and billing activities, implement policies and procedures, and manage front-end and back-end billing operations while supervising the Financial Clearance and PFS Managers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor performance metrics to measure revenue cycle effectiveness and compliance with regulations
• Oversee daily operations of financial clearance and patient financial services functions, including billing and collections
• Create and implement strategies to maximize revenue and improve organizational performance within the revenue cycle

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, finance, or a related field
• At least six years of experience in the healthcare revenue cycle management industry, with three years in management
• Thorough knowledge of patient financial services processes related to billing, collections, and cash posting
• Extensive experience leading teams and managing personnel
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and contracts
