Director of Revenue Cycle Management

Job Summary

As a fully remote Director of Revenue Cycle Management, the successful candidate will own the end-to-end RCM function across Medicaid and Medicare, leading strategy, team building, and data analysis to improve healthcare access and outcomes for underserved communities.

Key responsibilities

• Own the RCM function from eligibility and authorization through claims, denials, and collections
• Lead RCM strategy, including team building, KPI development, and cross-functional collaboration
• Conduct deep analysis on claims data to identify gaps and drive remediation efforts

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive Revenue Cycle Management experience with end-to-end ownership
• Deep knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare billing across the full revenue cycle
• Experience building and leading teams in a high-growth startup environment
• Highly analytical with the ability to independently query and analyze claims data
• Experience implementing RCM solutions such as Candid or Waystar
