Director of Risk Management

Job Summary

Providing leadership in Safety and Risk Management services, the full-time remote Sr. Director of Risk Management will oversee operational and financial activities, serve as a key client contact, and support business growth through strategic collaboration and proposal management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and financial activities related to risk management and REMS Consulting
• Serve as the primary contact for clients and internal teams regarding risk management initiatives
• Lead proposal preparation and client bid defenses while promoting UBC's capabilities at public forums

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or equivalent; advanced degree in a health-related discipline preferred
• At least 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research sectors
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing Project Manager-level staff
• Understanding of FDA-mandated programs and relevant scientific or epidemiology experience
• Experience in protocol writing, study design, and operations is beneficial
