Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Insurance and Risk Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the company's insurance policies and manage relationships with brokers and insurers
• Identify and evaluate potential risks, developing strategies and policies to mitigate them
• Manage contractor and vendor compliance programs, ensuring adherence to safety and performance criteria

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree and/or relevant certifications preferred
• 7-10 years of experience in insurance and risk management, with leadership experience in multi-segment businesses preferred
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, markets, and underwriting processes
• Proven negotiation skills with insurance brokers and carriers
• Proficiency in risk management software and strong organizational skills
