Director of Risk Management

Job Summary

Leading enterprise risk management initiatives, the full-time remote Director of Risk Management will oversee compliance assurance, audit coordination, and risk analytics while providing strategic guidance to executive leadership on risk trends and remediation effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework and maintain risk inventories and governance processes
• Coordinate external audits and assessments, ensuring effective management of audit requests and remediation activities
• Lead the Risk and Assurance team, fostering a proactive risk culture and establishing performance expectations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, audit, or healthcare operations, with 5+ years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management principles and healthcare regulatory requirements
• Experience managing external audits and corrective action governance
• Preferred certifications include CHC, CRCM, CIA, CFE, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
