Director of Risk Management

Job Summary

The full-time salaried Director of Risk Management will design, implement, and manage the company's enterprise risk management framework, focusing on construction and operational risk, insurance programs, and risk transfer strategies in a virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive construction and operational insurance programs, optimizing structures to balance cost and risk
• Lead the design and administration of Owner Controlled Insurance Programs (OCIP) and manage corporate surety programs
• Establish and oversee contractor prequalification and risk assessment programs while managing broker and carrier relationships

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in risk management, insurance, or construction risk
• 7+ years of team management experience
• Direct experience with large-scale construction projects and OCIP/CCIP program design
• Strong knowledge of surety underwriting and bonding structures
