Director of Risk Strategy

Job Summary

Director of Risk Strategy, a full-time remote position responsible for leading a team to develop credit strategies for managing customer engagement and minimizing losses in a non-prime consumer lending portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement credit line increase and decrease strategies to drive transaction volume and mitigate losses
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to create new capabilities and monitor performance
• Manage and develop analysts to drive strategic changes and enhance customer activation

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in financial services with a focus on credit strategies
• Proficiency in data analysis and database query languages such as SQL, and tools like Python or R
• Quantitative background in engineering, statistics, math, economics, or related fields
• Experience in leading and developing analytical teams
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance, such as FCRA and Reg Z, is a plus
