Director of Safety

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Safety for ES Operations (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of a risk-based safety strategy to prevent serious incidents
• Oversee the Environment, Safety, Health, and Risk Program (ESHARP) implementation across all locations
• Drive leadership engagement and ownership for safety outcomes while fostering a proactive safety culture

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field
• 12+ years of progressive safety leadership experience in high-risk industries
• Demonstrated success in influencing senior leaders and driving safety culture change
• Strong understanding of risk management and safety management systems
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on critical risks
