Director of Safety and Security

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Safety and Security to lead and enhance organizational safety and defense during a critical period for their movement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of security protocols and conduct risk assessments
• Facilitate the Security Working Group and manage organization-wide security practices
• Ensure robust security measures for staff and events, including digital security protocols

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in organizational operations, security, or community safety
• Minimum 3 years of experience in partnerships or coalitions within progressive movements
• Experience in delivering effective trainings for diverse learners
• Strong background in digital security and remote workplace technology
• Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to racial justice and gender justice
