Job Summary
Leading the Walmart business, the full-time salaried Director of Sales will manage the commercial partnership, oversee the Walmart P&L, and drive assortment availability and velocity while building a team to support rapid growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Own and grow the strategic partnership with Walmart, executing the joint business plan and developing senior relationships across various departments
- Lead the annual sales planning process, including volume forecasts and promotional calendars, ensuring alignment with Finance and Supply Chain
- Manage the Walmart P&L, focusing on revenue, margin, and household penetration across the Walmart footprint
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of retail sales experience with at least 3 years in a Director-level or senior account management role, preferably with Walmart or other top national accounts
- Proficiency in Walmart's core platforms and a proven ability to negotiate complex trading agreements
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in building and managing high-performing sales teams
- Experience in both long-term strategic planning and short-term tactical execution
- A passion for pets and a desire to contribute to the pet health industry
