Job Summary
A company is looking for a Director of Field Sales Engineering to build and lead a specialist Sales Engineering team focused on new products.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead the New Product Sales Engineering organization, defining operating models and success metrics
- Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Product Marketing to define go-to-market strategies and technical positioning
- Engage in high-impact customer conversations and lead complex technical discovery to drive product adoption
Required Qualifications
- 4-year degree from an accredited university
- 7+ years of experience managing a technical team, preferably in a sales engineering capacity
- Proven success in hiring and developing leadership talent
- Experience with SE capacity planning and integrating software tools for performance measurement
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver results in the sales cycle
