Job Summary

Seeking a strategic and highly technical Director of Sales Engineering, the remote position will build and lead a specialist Sales Engineering team focused on incubating and scaling new products while partnering closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Product Marketing to drive adoption and ensure exceptional technical value delivery to customers.

Key responsibilities
  • Build and lead the New Product Sales Engineering organization, defining operating models and success metrics
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing team of specialist Sales Engineers, ensuring alignment with sales and product strategies
  • Engage in executive-level customer conversations and lead technical discovery to architect solutions and execute proof-of-value initiatives
Required qualifications
  • 4-year degree from an accredited university
  • 7+ years of experience managing a technical team, ideally in a sales engineering capacity
  • Proven success in hiring, developing, and retaining leadership talent
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver results in the sales cycle
  • Experience driving product development based on input from Sales Leadership and customers
