Director of Salesforce Engineering

Job Summary

Driving the engineering strategy for the Salesforce platform, the full-time remote Director of Salesforce Engineering will provide technical leadership, oversee a team, and execute high-impact initiatives while ensuring platform reliability and alignment with organizational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of Salesforce features and integrations to enhance performance and business value
• Own the 6 - 12 month engineering strategy, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Manage and develop a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5 - 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Expertise in Salesforce platform engineering and DevOps practices, including release management tools like Copado
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce AI capabilities and AWS services, along with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning
• Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
