Job Summary
Seeking an experienced fundraising professional, the remote Associate Director of School Advancement will manage programs that support school professionals in fundraising, design workshops, and contribute to initiatives focused on affordability and governance within Jewish day schools.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate professional learning communities for school development professionals and design workshops on fundraising and endowment development
- Contribute to planning and delivery of affordability-related programs and support resource development for tuition flexibility and communal funding strategies
- Manage projects within the School Advancement team, collaborating on shared initiatives and developing content with the Marketing and Communications team
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional experience in nonprofit fundraising, preferably in Jewish day school or communal fundraising
- Demonstrated subject matter knowledge in development and fundraising with the ability to create compelling programming
- Experience in designing and delivering professional learning for adult audiences
- Strong relationship-building skills with school professionals and lay leaders
- Bachelor's degree; CFRE or other fundraising credentials are a plus
