Job Summary
As the senior domain leader for K-12 science teaching and learning, the full-time remote Director of Science Curriculum will manage the development and implementation of research-based principles, quality standards, and design expectations for science curriculum, assessment, and professional learning across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain science principles, frameworks, and quality indicators that guide curriculum and learning experiences
- Define science-specific quality indicators and acceptance criteria while partnering with curriculum designers to ensure high standards
- Develop the expertise of curriculum teams and promote coherence across science solutions and assessment practices
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree required; doctorate preferred in Science Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in science education, curriculum design, or academic leadership
- Deep expertise in K-12 science standards and inquiry-based learning practices
- Demonstrated ability to translate disciplinary expertise into scalable frameworks and instructional practices
- Proficiency with generative AI and AI-assisted curriculum development
