Job Summary
Leading the global scientific communications strategy for assigned therapeutic areas, the full-time remote Director of Scientific Communications will manage the development and execution of integrated medical communications plans, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams and delivering impactful content for healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive, globally aligned medical communications strategy
- Oversee cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality execution of Medical Communication Plans
- Develop and refine the Scientific Communication Platform and core content assets to ensure scientific rigor and consistency
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent) in science, medicine, or a related field
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Medical Affairs or Scientific Communications within the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry
- 3-5 years of prior leadership experience managing teams
- Demonstrated experience leading global communication strategies and integrated planning processes
- Experience in Nephrology or Immunology therapeutic areas strongly preferred
