Director of SDS Authoring Services

Job Summary

Leading a global team, the full-time remote Director of SDS Authoring Services will modernize service operations, optimize global delivery of Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), and drive continuous improvements to enhance customer outcomes and business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Modernize the Authoring Services operating model to improve agility, scalability, and efficiency
• Lead global On-Demand Authoring operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction
• Build and develop a high-performing team of Authoring Project Managers and operational leaders

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnical Science, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in SDS authoring or chemical regulatory consulting, with 7+ years in leadership roles
• Strong knowledge of global regulatory frameworks, including GHS, OSHA, and DOT
• Experience with SDS authoring platforms such as SAP or MSDgen
• Proven ability to use data and metrics to drive operational improvements and business decisions
