Director of Security

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Security to lead their Security team and manage security in AI-powered software development.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering to enhance secure software development and customer-facing product security
• Maintain and advance security and compliance posture, evaluating certifications for enterprise deals
• Lead security operations, including auditing, incident response, and company-wide security awareness

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years in security leadership, with experience in scaling security programs at fast-growing SaaS companies
• Deep experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and similar compliance certifications
• Understanding of appsec and AI software development security risks and mitigation strategies
• Experience with enterprise security requirements in regulated or research-intensive industries
• Proven ability to implement organizational change and gain buy-in from diverse teams
