Director of Security

Job Summary

Leading the security organization, the full-time remote Sr. Director of Security will set and deliver the security strategy for an AI-native SaaS platform, managing teams focused on Application Security, Infrastructure Security, Detection & Response, and GRC while collaborating with executives to integrate security as a competitive advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Set the vision and roadmap for security, ensuring alignment with AI features and enterprise customer needs
• Own and evolve the risk management program, identifying and mitigating enterprise risks while communicating effectively with the executive team
• Lead a high-functioning Detection & Response program, managing incident response, bug bounty triage, and systemic fixes

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience leading security teams in SaaS product companies with modern tech stacks
• Deep expertise in at least one security discipline, such as Application Security or Detection & Response
• Strong background in risk management and the ability to communicate complex technical risks to executives
• Proven track record of driving change management across organizations and influencing executive decision-making
• Experience in building and managing diverse, high-performing engineering teams with a focus on inclusivity and psychological safety
