Job Summary
Leading a high-performing team, the full-time remote Director of Security Engineering will design, implement, and optimize security technologies for managed cybersecurity services while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and mentor a security engineering team while defining technical strategy and architecture standards
- Oversee the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of security technologies, including SIEM, EDR/XDR, and cloud security
- Engage directly with customers to understand requirements, present solutions, and resolve technical issues
Required qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related technical disciplines
- 5+ years of experience leading technical teams in cybersecurity or IT environments
- Strong understanding of enterprise security architectures and technologies
- Experience in designing and deploying security technologies in complex environments
