Director of Security Operations

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Security Operations to lead and mature their Enterprise Security Operations Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations of the Security Operations Center, ensuring effective monitoring and response to security events
• Lead and develop SOC analysts and security engineers, establishing objectives and professional development pathways
• Oversee security incident responses, coordinating investigation and recovery activities while communicating with executive leadership

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with significant experience in security operations or engineering
• Proven experience in a Director or senior leadership role overseeing cybersecurity teams and operations
• Deep understanding of SOC operations, including threat detection and incident response
• Hands-on familiarity with enterprise security technologies such as SIEM and EDR
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity compliance requirements and relevant frameworks
