Director of Security Operations

Job Summary

Overseeing the daily operations of the organization's security operations center, the full-time Director of Security Operations will manage a team of security professionals, develop security policies, and implement incident response protocols in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the Security Operations Center (SOC) and lead incident response efforts
• Develop and implement security monitoring strategies and vulnerability management practices
• Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance security processes and systems across the organization

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master's preferred)
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in security operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Proven experience managing a SOC and leading incident response initiatives
• Strong understanding of security technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR
• Experience with regulatory compliance requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS
