Director of Security Operations

Job Summary

Leading the organization's cybersecurity operations, the full-time remote Director of Security Operations will manage security monitoring, incident response, and threat hunting while collaborating with the Director of Security Architecture & Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead security monitoring, incident response, threat hunting, and vulnerability management initiatives
• Establish operational priorities and metrics based on organizational risk and business needs
• Serve as incident commander for significant cybersecurity events and drive improvements to security controls

Required Qualifications

• Experience leading Security Operations, Incident Response, or related cybersecurity functions
• Hands-on experience implementing and operating security controls across various environments
• Strong technical understanding of security analytics, detection engineering, and identity security
• Experience leading significant cybersecurity incidents and cross-functional response activities
• Familiarity with cloud-native environments and modern cybersecurity frameworks is preferred
