Director of SEO and AEO

Job Summary

Leading the SEO and AEO strategy for Houzz's global portfolio, the full-time remote Director of SEO and AEO will manage a team, drive organic acquisition strategies, and oversee the implementation of SEO initiatives across various verticals.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of the SEO and AEO strategy across all geographies and sites
• Implement a comprehensive AEO/GEO strategy that includes content marketing and digital PR
• Monitor and report on SEO performance metrics, including rankings and traffic, while communicating insights to leadership

Required qualifications

• At least 10 years of in-house SEO experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
• 5+ years of SEO Product Management experience working in an agile environment
• Experience with large multi-million URL sites and B2B SaaS or Content Marketing SEO
• Proficiency in creating SEO performance forecasts and understanding SEO best practices
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
