Job Summary
Leading a talented team, the full-time remote Director of SEO and AEO will own the SEO and AEO strategy, drive alignment with organizational leadership, and build the necessary infrastructure to enhance search optimization across all web surfaces.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute the SEO and AEO strategy and roadmap aligned with business priorities and content discovery opportunities
- Build and oversee the technical infrastructure that integrates SEO/AEO validation into the content production workflow
- Lead and develop a high-performing SEO/AEO team, setting clear goals and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of professional SEO/search marketing experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of building and scaling SEO functions with measurable business impact
- Deep understanding of SEO fundamentals and emerging AEO/LLM optimization challenges
- Experience designing and deploying SEO workflows and automation with marketing technology
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive organizational alignment
