Director of SEO and AI Search

Job Summary

Leading a talented team in a full-time remote capacity, the Director of SEO and AI Search will drive SEO strategies, manage client relationships, and oversee departmental performance while focusing on the integration of AI in search methodologies.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and mentor a team of SEO managers to ensure high performance and retention across a diverse client portfolio
• Develop and implement full-funnel SEO strategies, including technical audits, content roadmaps, and digital PR initiatives
• Oversee departmental P&L, capacity planning, and tooling decisions to drive business growth and innovation

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with at least 2 years in a management role
• Proven agency experience with a track record of managing high-performing teams
• Deep expertise in technical SEO, content strategy, and off-site optimization
• Experience with P&L ownership and financial acumen
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI's role in search and the future of digital marketing
