Director of Site Reliability Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a skilled Site Reliability Engineering team, the full-time hybrid Director of Site Reliability Engineering will establish a clear vision for the team, define quarterly objectives aligned with company goals, and oversee the design and maintenance of reliable systems and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Establish a vision and mandate for the Site Reliability Engineering team, including defining quarterly OKRs
• Design and build reliable systems and infrastructure while monitoring and troubleshooting production systems
• Coach and mentor team members, defining career growth paths and facilitating collaboration with development teams

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer and managing an SRE team
• Proven experience in designing and maintaining infrastructure for large distributed systems
• Strong track record of collaborating with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle
• Experience with configuration management or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling, such as Terraform or Ansible
• Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with remote team members
