Director of Site Reliability Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a global infrastructure and reliability team, the full-time Director of Site Reliability Engineering will manage the SRE function to ensure the scalability, availability, and efficiency of cloud infrastructure while driving cost optimization and innovation with cutting-edge technologies in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable, reliable cloud-based infrastructure, implementing SRE best practices and automation strategies
• Monitor and optimize cloud spending, collaborating with finance teams to align infrastructure costs with business objectives
• Lead and mentor a global team of SREs, fostering collaboration with engineering and security teams to enhance system resilience

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure roles
• 5+ years of experience in people management, specifically leading SRE teams
• Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a focus on cost management and scaling strategies
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and observability tools like Prometheus or Grafana
