Job Summary
Leading a high-performing sales team, the remote Director of SLED Sales will drive top-line revenue growth through customer retention, upsell, cross-sell, and new customer acquisition in the U.S. State, Local, and Higher Education (SLED) segments.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a team to enhance revenue growth by retaining and expanding Skillsoft's existing U.S. SLED customer base
- Drive new customer acquisition efforts to build pipeline and accelerate execution
- Partner with Specialist reps on cross-sell opportunities while aligning customer strategic initiatives with Skillsoft's offerings
Required qualifications
- 14+ years of experience in B2B PaaS or SaaS sales management, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of leadership experience managing a team of 5+ sales professionals
- Proven track record in leading public sector, state and local government, and/or Higher Ed sales teams
- Experience developing and executing regional sales plans for customer acquisition and growth
- Ability to navigate complex organizations and engage multiple decision-makers, including C-suite executives
