Director of Smart Ops

Job Summary

Leading the enterprise AI program across global operations, the full-time remote Director of Smart Ops will manage AI deployment across manufacturing, distribution, and logistics, ensuring measurable value generation while collaborating with multiple operational functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the ERA AI Enablement function, overseeing AI deployment across manufacturing and distribution operations
• Define and execute the technical roadmap for AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with operational priorities and governance
• Build and lead a high-performing team of AI engineers and digital program managers to drive AI and digital transformation efforts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in engineering, technology program management, or AI/digital transformation roles within manufacturing
• Demonstrated experience deploying AI and industrial analytics platforms at scale
• Proven leadership in managing cross-functional programs in a global organization
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing program budgets and building business cases for technology investments
