Director of Software Development

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director - Development to oversee software development initiatives and align them with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the software development strategy in alignment with corporate goals
• Lead and foster collaboration among development teams, both onshore and offshore
• Oversee planning and delivery of complex projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's Degree preferred
• 12 years in software development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Proven track record of delivering successful software products and managing large, distributed teams
• Exceptional knowledge of system architecture and understanding of software development lifecycle
• Experience with cloud-native development and DevOps practices preferred
