Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Software Development to drive technical direction and oversee software development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers and developers
• Oversee software development projects, ensuring timely and on-budget completion
• Collaborate with engineering leaders to define and implement the technical roadmap

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA is a plus
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record of delivering complex software projects successfully
• Expertise in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
