Leading product development teams, the full-time salaried Director of Software Development will manage software and quality engineers, oversee feature delivery and architecture, and drive technology modernization efforts in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with product management and executives to shape the product roadmap and architecture
• Maximize the use of AI tools to enhance delivery and measure productivity against business objectives
• Oversee the hiring, coaching, and development of engineering teams while ensuring adherence to project timelines and functional requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• 7+ years of industry experience, particularly in cloud application delivery and modernization
• Experience with Agile Software Development Life Cycle and Scrum methodology
• Practical knowledge of Object Oriented Programming, distributed architecture, and cloud-native systems
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing remote development teams
