Director of Software Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Software Engineering (E&I).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of E&I engineering in collaboration with product and engineering leadership
• Define a strategic engineering vision to build a scalable, resilient, and secure system
• Grow and expand the engineering team while fostering an inclusive and collaborative culture

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Engineering, with 7+ years in a leadership role
• Experience managing and growing engineering teams of 20+ members across multiple locations
• Strong background in building consumer-facing products and high-performing web experiences
• Expertise in delivering complex systems, including scalable APIs and microservices, preferably in AWS
• Experience in delivering products within an agile environment
