Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Software Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple Software Engineering Managers and Staff Engineers, providing strategic guidance and mentorship
• Collaborate with the VP Engineering to develop and execute engineering strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Establish and maintain engineering standards and best practices across all development teams

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with progression in technical leadership roles
• 5+ years of experience managing engineering managers and senior technical staff
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in modern programming languages such as C# or Java
• Extensive experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly Amazon Web Services
• Proven track record of leading large-scale software development initiatives and product delivery
