Director of Software Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Software Engineering to lead initiatives and teams within its Engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership to the Platform Engineering team and oversee modernization efforts
• Define and evolve system architecture and engineering patterns for resilience and performance
• Foster innovation by promoting modern engineering tools and practices to enhance team efficiency

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly with SaaS systems
• Proven experience in leading and managing senior development resources
• In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
• 5+ years of experience with SQL and relational databases, with MySQL experience preferred
• Hands-on experience with key technologies including AWS, Node.js, and Angular
