Director of Software Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Software Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic partner to engineering leadership for outbound communications
• Lead teams to design, build, and maintain core Transactional Print Fulfillment platforms
• Oversee the full communications lifecycle from requirements gathering through post-production support

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering and communication platforms, including 5+ years leading engineering teams
• 7+ years of experience with enterprise-grade applications in the Azure public cloud using Java and Spring Boot
• 5+ years of experience managing high-volume document workflows
• Deep understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and observability practices
