Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Software Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and drive technical strategy aligned with company objectives
• Manage and develop a small team of engineers, including hiring and performance management
• Remain hands-on in the codebase, contributing to architecture decisions and implementing critical features

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience building web-based applications
• Strong recent work in Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Cloud Platforms, and JavaScript frameworks
• Prior experience managing and developing engineers within a small team
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and integrations
• Deep knowledge of secure software development practices
