Director of Software Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Software Engineering (MLOps & ML Governance).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of deliverables with risk and engineering teams, ensuring timely project completion within requirements and budgets
• Direct the system development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and support of software systems and applications
• Establish best practices for ML governance, model deployment, and performance monitoring while partnering with various teams to meet regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, including building distributed or cloud-based systems
• 4+ years of experience managing teams and developing technical contributors
• Proven experience leading MLOps functions or production-grade ML platforms in an enterprise setting
• Familiarity with regulatory expectations for AI/ML in regulated industries
