Director of Software Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vertical Director of Software Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the technical vision and delivery strategy across multiple Business Units
• Lead the DevOps function, implementing CI/CD best practices and infrastructure automation
• Own the Software Security roadmap, integrating security best practices into the development lifecycle

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering leadership, preferably at the Director level
• Proven expertise in leading DevOps transformations and managing cloud infrastructure
• Strong background in Application Security, including threat modeling and secure coding standards
• Deep experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe
• Proven experience in recruiting and mentoring engineering leaders and teams
