Director of Software Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a multi-year technology roadmap, the full-time Sr. Director of Software & Data Engineering will manage the Privia Data Foundry, overseeing cloud modernization, analytics, and AI initiatives while ensuring engineering excellence and accountability for data services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end solutions for the Privia Data Foundry, including reporting, dashboards, and analytics with a cloud-native architecture
• Establish engineering metrics and agile delivery models while maintaining data pipeline reliability, scalability, and performance
• Lead and mentor a global engineering team, fostering a culture of empowerment and continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technology delivery and engineering leadership, particularly in cloud modernization
• Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation programs in global organizations
• Deep knowledge of healthcare technology delivery, especially in claims and payer contracting
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS, including data and DevOps services
• Hands-on experience implementing AI/ML or GenAI solutions to enhance operational outcomes
