Job Summary

Leading the Engineering team, the full-time remote Director of Software Engineering will oversee the development of complex software systems for large-scale cloud-based applications in the power and electrical industry, ensuring high standards and best practices are met.

Key responsibilities

• Providing strategic guidance and architecture oversight for software development
• Designing scalable and secure systems to address the needs of the energy sector
• Facilitating collaboration with business leaders and internal teams to translate technical requirements

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
• 10+ years in engineering leadership or NPI delivery within large-scale cloud development
• 5+ years of expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• 3+ years of experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies
