Job Summary

Driving innovation and leading high-performing teams, the full-time salaried Director of Software Engineering will provide technical direction, oversee software development, and collaborate on strategic initiatives in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business partners to drive the technical design and delivery of software products and technology platforms
• Make key architectural decisions to ensure system scalability and resiliency for modernization initiatives
• Lead and mentor a multi-functional engineering team to enhance delivery and foster continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of senior technical leadership experience in managing multi-functional technology software teams
• 12+ years of hands-on engineering/software development experience, particularly with Java, REST, and cloud technologies
• 5+ years of experience in large-scale product engineering with a focus on B2B and B2C platform capabilities
• Proven ability to lead agile portfolio delivery and influence software solutions across organizational levels
