Director of Software Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the engineering efforts for the Partner Experience organization, the full-time salaried Director of Software Engineering will manage team health, technical strategy, and delivery velocity across two product teams focused on partner onboarding and insights, while promoting AI-native engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the engineering roadmap and resource allocation for Partner Quoting & Delivery and Partner Reporting & Insights teams
• Drive alignment between engineering and product leadership, ensuring effective collaboration from discovery through delivery
• Champion the transition to AI-assisted engineering workflows, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability within the teams

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3+ years in a managerial role overseeing engineering managers
• Proven experience in transitioning teams to AI-assisted engineering practices, including the development of culture, tooling, and measurement frameworks
• Strong track record of delivering high-quality products at scale in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
• Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively representing engineering to product and go-to-market partners
• Experience working with modern data tooling and collaborating with embedded data engineers
