Director of Software Engineering

Job Summary

Leading multiple teams of software, data, and platform engineers, the full-time salaried Director of Software Engineering will focus on building advanced data infrastructure and analytics solutions while collaborating with product managers and data scientists in a remote-eligible role.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow teams to foster a culture of innovation and technical development
• Design and implement scalable backend solutions, integrating custom data pipelines with existing platforms
• Collaborate across engineering organizations to optimize system throughput and accelerate the delivery of intelligent capabilities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 7 years of experience in software engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in people management
• Experience with cloud platforms and data technologies such as Python, SQL, and AWS
• Strong background in Agile practices
