Director of Software Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing global team, the full-time Director of Software Engineering will oversee the S365 and SmartShopper applications, drive modernization strategies, and ensure the delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Foster a collaborative engineering culture that values diverse perspectives and continuous learning
• Translate enterprise and product strategy into clear engineering priorities, roadmaps, and deliverables
• Establish engineering standards and metrics to drive consistent, high-quality delivery across teams

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, with 5+ years in leadership roles
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Strong familiarity with technologies such as Ruby on Rails, C#, Angular, and AWS
• Proven experience leading distributed teams and delivering complex, scalable systems
• Demonstrated understanding of cloud utilization and legacy app modernization
