Job Summary

Leading product development teams, the full-time salaried Director of Software Engineering will manage software and quality engineers, oversee feature delivery and architecture, and drive technology modernization initiatives in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with product management and executives to shape the product roadmap and architecture
• Own the product technical roadmap, ensuring performance, security, and architecture improvements
• Manage hiring, coaching, and development of engineering teams while participating in incident management and resolution

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• 7+ years of industry experience, particularly in cloud application delivery and modernization
• Experience with Agile Software Development Life Cycle and Scrum methodology
• Practical experience in Object Oriented Programming, distributed architecture, and cloud-native systems
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with a focus on team development and productivity tracking
